Although his recipe is a dessert, you'll use coconuts that are high in fiber, dates that are rich in antioxidents, chia seeds which are high in omega-3 fatty acids and delicious other natural ingredients to make a protein powered dessert you will enjoy. The end result is a delicious protein bite that only takes 15 minutes to make, gives you 18 servings and 11-15 grams of protein in each bite.
INGREDIENTS:
5.3 oz (or 2/3 cup of Vanilla non-fat yogurt (or non-dairy alternative)
1 Cup chopped Dates
1 Cup Cashews
1/2 Cup Chocolate Plant-based Protein
1/4 Cup Hemp Seeds - Hulled
1/4 Cup Chia Seeds
1/2 Cup Almond Meal
2 Tbsp Cocoa Powder
1/4 Tsp Celtic Sea Salt
1/2 Cup Shredded Unsweetened Coconut (plus more for rolling)
DIRECTIONS:
Place all ingredients expect the yogurt in a food processor
Pulse several times to break up cashews
Add Yogurt & Pulse to Mix
Form into 1 1/2-Inch balls and roll in coconut to coat
